Having predictable defaults makes a big difference for technical notes. I spent a lot of time tweaking complex setups before settling on plain markdown files in a git repo with a minimal editor. Stripping out the overhead of styling and plugin management makes it much easier to actually sit down and write when an idea comes up. Looking forward to seeing the notes you share here.
