Hello Folks! 2020 has been an unusual year for many. But it has also been different in many ways. One of the positive effects of 2020 is that we got to spend more time with family and had a chance to take a break, think and reflect. Finally, holiday...

I submitted mine on the 1st of january, I created an application that helps users create resumes.

Awesome!

Just wrote an article on Image and Video Background removal using Deep Learning!

Edit: I am having some issues with code blocks in the above article. Some blocks are working properly while some blocks aren't! I am getting weird colors in blocks!

Hey, Just wondering what the exact deadline is (time/timezone)? I'm writing from UK so dont want to miss out if I publish the post on 2nd Jan UK time.

Hey Sam, it's 2nd Jan Pacific Time. :)

#christmashackathon

lovely, i have to start building my project.

5 interesting articles

Is it possible to tell more about what are the criteria to be one of these? Thank you

Our team will go through the projects and decide based on various factors such as feedback from the community, engagement, reactions etc.

Sandeep Panda, thanks for replying and make it clear 😁

Can we build cool portfolios?

Thanks For This Challenge.

I has to be a utility that solves something.

Amazing. Working...Sandeep Panda

Awesome, I am down for it.... just to get me a start in blogging.

But am curious to know the following:

The article says : "we'll announce 5 interesting articles, AND , reward each author with $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent)."

Does this mean that the reward of $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent) is only for the winners?

Do all the writers(including all non-winners) will be rewarded with $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent)?

Thanks for the ClarificationSandeep Panda Btw, thanks for Hashnode and i will blog anywys :p

Thanks for organizing this hackathon! Can we submit a side project we had already been working on?

Nice and am looking forward to it. But I have a question when you mean

Tweet to us

Do you mean like via Dm on Twitter or create a tweet tagging you guys along side with (#christmashackathon)

You just need to mention us in your tweet!

Okay thank you very much... will jump on it right away Sandeep Panda

This is awesome 🎉🎉🚀

What a perfect timing, I just built a tool to send contact forms easily on static websites. Just finished writing my article on how to include it in the hashnode blog.

That's awesome Sandeep. Just a question, would there be any option to monetize on our hashnode blog? Anyway, thanks for the new challenge.

I was going to participate in a New Year's hackathon so I guess I'm building 2 projects for Hashnode's hackathon too :D

Mind sharing the New Year's hackathon you'll be participating in?

That’s a great timing! I’ve just submitted my post, let’s hope for the best 🤞
