This was a useful reality check — the code change is small, but Accelerate was doing two jobs, pooling and query caching, and only one has a direct replacement. The part I'll take with me is sorting cacheStrategy uses into drop, fix the query, or cache it yourself, especially with the $accelerate.invalidate() catch. And the calendar point matters: a December 1 cutoff the day after Cyber Monday is not a date to cut over on without a buffer and a load test first.
