The finding that every one of the 523,578 sites had at least one gap is the one that sticks with me — and the 70% with a missing, duplicated, or too-short homepage title is exactly what I see with small businesses. The owner usually thinks the site is 'done' because it loads and looks fine, while the title, sitemap, and answer-engine basics were never checked. Dating each measurement and re-measuring instead of trusting old data is the right call too; a site that was fine six months ago often isn't after a redesign or a platform move. Did the AEO gap surprise you more than the SEO gap, or was the title figure the bigger shock?
